Superheroes and Education

And now, the superheroes shall comment on the candidates' education plans, and give a point for Obama, Romney or Undecided. Once again, some of these statements are direct or expanded quotes. Try to figure out which ones in the comments!

"Obama's efforts to get as much quality education to as many Americans as possible is commendably. Americans have been woefully ignorant of intellectualism, and if we aren't well informed about things like our international friends, how can we can carry out our good neighbor policy?"
Point for: Obama

"The more educated someone is, the more likely they'll learn that crime doesn't pay the easy way. Having a government plan to get everyone on the same page is a good step forward."
Point for: Obama

"Romney seems really intent on putting it on the working class. Does he think working class means "only earns $100,00 a year"?"
Point for: Obama

Shadowcat
"A good education is important. A kid can learn a lot in one day, like the difference between good and evil, if they have the right teacher. But you need to stand by the teachers if you want that to happen."
Point for: Obama

"Knowledge is important. If you don't know what you're going up against, it'll run right over you. And when you really need to know, it's best to get an expert, which is not something you want to "Shop Around" on."
Point for: Obama

"It sounds like Romney just wants to do some Union busting, not help anyone learn anything."
Point for: Obama

Spider-Girl
"Romney says he wants America to have the best education, but he's rather vague on the details about how he wants to achieve that."
Point for: Obama

"As some famous guy once said, "Knowledge is Power". Or did I read that on the back of a bacon smoothie in France? See, this is what happens when you don't get a proper education."
Point for: Obama

"Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them on, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. And teachers are everyday heroes, and we need to support them if we want them to live up to this."
Point for: Obama

"I know a boy who once said "If I didn't learn it in the fourth grade, it didn't need learning", but he's not one of the brightest boys I know and could a done with some more book learning. If Obama wants to make it so kids get better educations, good on him."
Point for: Obama
Mr. Incredible
"That Romney thinks smaller class is more likely to hurt education shows just how little interaction he's had with teachers, and how poorly he can empathize with other people."
Point for: Obama

"Education deserves the best efforts of everyone involved, so we need to afford it significant resources and energy. Given that Romney doesn't want to give either of those, I'm reluctant to give him my vote."
Point for: Obama

"Obama's plan to have student loans forgiven after so many years should go a long way to keeping people from doing desperate things."
Point for: Obama

"As the saying goes, knowing is half the battle. After all, how many times have those genius superheroes saved the day using their brains? So smarter people means more evil thwarted, which is what Obama wants to do with improvements he has planned."
Point for: Obama

Linda Park-West
"Romney's record shows he doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to education."
Point for: Obama

The Savage Dragon
"Both candidates agree that the better an education Americans get, the better America and its economy is, but Romney doesn't seem all that interested in actually helping Americans get that education, unlike President Obama."
Point for: Obama

"Romney's contradiction in what he says he'll do and what he plans on doing are just to much."
Point for: Obama

"If we want to go further than those before us, we have to know more than them, and the only way that'll happen is if we keep investing in spreading our knowledge around."
Point for: Obama.

"A good education can mean the difference between a good life, and a life of crime. Romney's "fend for yourself" attitude isn't going to help anyone achievement the first one."
Point for: Obama

"Prevention is the best way to avoid accidents, and a good education is key to that. Obama's effort to have more, better funded teachers will go along way to helping."
Point for: Obama

And another clean sweep for Obama. I think as the supers learn more about Romney, the more they're coming to distrust him. But do any of you agree with that? If you think any of the heroes have been misrepresented, let me know in the comments!
Tomorrow I'll have some more PSAs for people to look at, Sunday I'll have nice music video that I hope people enjoy, and then on Monday I'll have a piece on Libertarianism. If you have any suggests, feel free to post them in the comments.
